Menara Kuala Lumpur (Kuala Lumpur Tower, or simply KL Tower) is a telecommunications tower in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It was built between 1991 and 1995, and is currently the 7th tallest telecom tower in the world, standing at 421 metres.Besides telecommunication, KL Tower is also used by Muslim astronomers to observe the crescent moon to determine the beginning of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan every year.
